We store only the data needed to run app features:
- Bookmarks and Categories: Saved websites, categories, favorites, and related metadata are stored locally on your device (Hive database).
- App Preferences: Theme mode, layout style, and first-launch demo import consent are stored locally (SharedPreferences).
- Imported/Exported Backup Files: If you use backup features, JSON files are created or read from your device storage.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide bookmark management features (add, edit, search, favorite, delete).
- To preserve your app settings and local data across app launches.
- To optionally import demo entries on first launch if you grant permission.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
No Personal Data Sold: Secret Websites, AI & Tools does not sell your personal data.
- Your bookmarks and preferences remain on your device unless you export them yourself.
- The app may request remote content for optional demo preload and site metadata/favicon lookup.
- The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display ads. Ad serving and related data processing are handled by Google under their own privacy terms.
4. Permissions
- Internet Access: Used for opening links, optional demo preload, metadata/favicon requests, and ad loading.
- Local Storage / Media Access: Used for local database data and import/export JSON backup files.
5. Data Security
Your data security is important to us:
- Your app data is stored locally on your device.
- Remote requests are made over HTTPS where supported.
- No account registration is required and no in-app authentication data is collected by us.
